Taking Japanese lessons at Hanabi has been fantastic. I’ve improved so much in a few months. Natsuko Sensei is knowledgeable, patient, and always answers my questions. If you want to learn Japanese, go for it. It’s worth it!

Natsuko-sensei is a very friendly, humorous, and cheerful person. You can genuinely feel her passion for teaching and explaining the Japanese language to her students. I feel very comfortable and in good hands with her, both personally and professionally. I’m always looking forward to our lessons. Natsuko-sensei motivates me to keep trying and to learn from the mistakes that everyone inevitably makes in learning a new language, let alone one as challenging as Japanese, particularly for Europeans. Even though Natsuko-sensei uses the well-known Genki textbooks and workbooks, she doesn’t just blindly follow them. She prefers to prepare her own worksheets and overview sheets and maintains a well-paced schedule, which may not always follow the pacing of the books, but feels very natural and easy to immerse oneself in.
